With the Cicret Bracelet, you can make your skin your new touchscreen.

This is insane.

Why would you post this and not tell anyone THEY NEED MONEY TO MAKE IT REAL

Reblogging because I can’t donate, but someone else might be able to.

This is so wrong, there are several reasons why this can’t work with the technology they say they use in the video.

First of all, they’re using a small projector. That would mean that the power of the light source in it would be way to small. That’s even considering that the wrist band is thick enough to get enough an angle for the projector to work at all.

Second, the fact that you’re using a projector implies that your own finger drops a shadow on the rest of the picture, rendering the thing useless.

Same goes for the proximity sensors, it means that your wrist band would have no multitouch capacity since it can’t detect two fingers behind each other.

This is a neat concept, but hardly realizable with 700k, this is most probably turning into some failed kickstarter or an over priced “could be awesome” gadget.
